NZ – Little round doors

Today we went to Hobbiton! We arrived at the check out place with the family and Grandy and Grey. ( Zeb Loma and Thalia’s grandparents) – after we had paid we hopped into a bus and the driver talked and talked and talked and talked about very, very, very boring stuff and he said about 5 “you knows” in every sentence!!! After 20-30 minutes later we arrived in Hobbiton with our tour guide and group. We set off. The first hobbit hole was sooo sweet and had a little yellow door and a picnic table and a little washing line next to the chimney, which was perched on top of the green lush hill! There were lots of different sized doors so the smaller ones were for the taller people so when Gandalf stood in front of the door it looked like he was really tall, but actually he was normal size! And the bigger ones were for the hobbits and dwarves! And when Gandalf sat down next to Frodo say, Frodo was actually sitting a lot further behind to make him look like a hobbit, so next time you watch it see if Frodo is actually sitting next to Gandalf a few metres way!

In The Lord of the Rings or Hobbit there was a scene where 2 children were sitting under a plum tree making a pyramid out of plum pips, but this plum tree were too wide to be in this area so they took all the leaves off the apple tree and the apples and stuck them on with fake leaves and plums! It was magical!!!!

We came to Bilbo’s house and Frodo’s Baggins’ house on the gate it said the famous quote  “No admittance except on Party Business” There wasn’t a better hobbit hole for 2 wonderful hobbits! They also provided us with a free drinking the Green Dragon Pub!
