I went to Te Papa on February 3 2015. I went with Hilary, Jemima, and Millie, because mummy and daddy went and did a walk. I saw a squid. It was at least a couple of meters. It was in a big glass case filled with some kind of liquid to keep it looking alive. You couldn’t tell where it’s eyes were. My little sister Millie didn’t like the squid – she didn’t want to look at it for very long because she thought it was yucky.
We saw two things from whales. One was a giant fossil skeleton of the whale. It was hanging from the ceiling. We also saw a model of a whale’s heart – you could get inside it. I climbed to the top of the heart and inside of it I actually got stuck at the top inside a hole and Hillary had to get me and it was super-hills to the rescue!
We walked into a bit that looked like the earth. There was a movie about hot lava and the centre of the earth. This was awesome forces exhibit.
I had to have 3 stitches in my chin
This was a fun game we played being chased by the waves
