NZ- I’ve got a hole in my foot

When we got to Wannaka, we stayed with a lady called Joss. There wasn’t enough room in the house so we had to sleep in a tent in the garden, which was pretty exciting except when you had to go to the toilet in the middle of the night which was a bit of a hassle. Me, Jemima and Zeb slept in the tent. It was fun playing Mine Craft in the tent before we went to bed. But when Jemima said stop talking, we had to stop talking.

One day we went rock climbing it was really fun. It was fun because you had to go absailing. We had to have a harness and special climbing shoes. When we went down to the river to have lunch it was really fun because there was a big swing. When we got home, we slept in the tent.

The next day we decided to go for a walk to a hut, but unfortunately I was looking in the mirror and I jigged the mirror and it fell on my foot and it bulged a big hole on my foot, so I couldn’t go for a walk. So Mummy and Jemima went with Zeb Toby and Heather. Me, dad and Millie stayed behind. We had a good time, but we wished we could have gone on the walk to the hut.

Me and dad went to the hospital and she put glue then a steristrip then a Plaster and then a bandage and she told me not to run, not to go on the trampoline and not to run or swim, which I wasn’t very good at, so it didn’t improve.
