Nepal – Goodbye lovely friends

Pokhara was really fun and we did lots of interesting things, like walking up to the Stupa.

We took a rowing boat over to an island and we started walking up to a Buddhist Stupa. When we got to the top, we stayed and played and messed around on the grass.

Gabriel had an idea of making a boat out of leaves and I agreed to play with him until I realised that there were bugs everywhere!Gabriel had an idea of making a boat out of leaves and I agreed to play with him until I realised that there were bugs everywhere!

Another really fun thing, was that for the three out of four nights that we were here we went to what we called the Bob Marley bar because it was always playing music. We had a fruit lassis every night which wasΒ DELISH!

We went back to Kathmandu by bus, to Karma’s house. We were really pleased to see Karma’s kids all waiting for us, with great big hugs and kisses.

On the last night all of the children including us us had a party and a midnight feast to say goodbye, we were 7 of us, sleeping on the floor. We were telling ghost stories and got frightened and then we all changed sleeping arrangements and hugged on to each other as no one wanted to sleep next to the door, because we thought a ghost would come in.

The next day when we had to leave, Karma put white silk scarves round our necks as a leaving present and we cried when we said goodbye.
