Strange to be Home

We were in the airport and we were looking for uncle Jason he said he would be holding up a banner in the airport and we’d have to look out for it we told him that we’d be waving a little Mexican flags and that he would see them and you would shout Dickinson . The banner had welcome home written in all the languages from all the countries we’d been to on our travels also known as Ethiopia India Nepal Cambodia Laos New Zealand and Mexico and here. My aunt brought lots of Snacks so we could have a snacky breakfast  but I wasn’t so hungry so I had some toast at our grandmother’s house.  We turned round the corner and all are teddies are waiting for us on the doorstep .My teddies name are Alfie and custard – well those are my special Teddys. My grandmother was very pleased to meet us in the house I had some marmite toast but not much else and some cereal. our aunt and uncle only stayed the day because they had to go back to their house . Another day we went to an amazing playground and it was really fun because there were loads of activities to do like there was an amazing slide that was really long and there was lots of swings and my Grandmother came with me and she sat on the step.

My favourite country was Mexico Ecuador and Laos and I am mainly enjoyed Ecuador because we went to the Galapagos and went snorkelling with iguanas well not just swimming in the sea with seals and penguins and also snakes and mosquitoes in the Amazon jungle.

  1. Hey welcome home, Godson! I hear you guys left a brilliant message on my home phone but I can’t find it so far, so will have to keep looking. I hope you sang me an Ecuadorian Iguana Swimming song. I’m coming to have brunch with you all on Sunday so can’t wait to hear all about it. Love to Jemima and Millie. Sophie xxxx
