Mexico – San Cristobal de las Casas – Back at the Ranch

We went back to ranch Evergreen but this time for a weekend. On the first day we played with the puppies for a long time and then rode a beautiful horse bare-back with Cheyanne and we steered on our own. Then Cheyanne got off and Xoe got on.

Before dinner we painted our faces in all different sparkles. Bambi painted my face, Millie’s Zoe’s and Cheyanne’s face. For dinner we had stuffed pumpkins with rice and tortillas. We played a bit more after that then roasted HUGE marshmallows which were delicious!!!

It was 11 o’clock when we said goodnight to everyone and got the blankets and headed up to the cottage. Outisde the cottage there was a small tent that me, Gabriel and Zoe and Cheyanne were going to sleep in but then Zoe and Cheyanne wanted to sleep in their house. The next morning we got up and had a delicious smoothie and breakfast.

A couple of hours later we brushed the horses and sprayed them, then saddled them it took around an hour. Then we mounted them and set off on a ride. We went through the forest. At one point Sam took us down a slope this steep.

On the way back up the steep slope Gabriel nearly fell off. But he was OK! However in the forest he did fall off! They say you need to fall off 7 times to become a cowboy, so 2 down 5 to go!
