Mexico – San Cristobal De las Casas – It poured and poured and poured

 We met these really good friends. The two girls were called Emma and Bri. Emma was 8 years older than Gabriel.Bri had a little brother called Peter who was 2. They came to Spanish school with us. Every now and again,  they came to our house to play.

We went to this little village, which really had nothing to it. A lady brought us in to see her son’s celebration for the end of primary school. We walked in and nobody was talking! Only  loud music. We got served up some oat meal things wrapped in a leaf and we also got a big bowl of coffee each. There were some ladies who were wearing beautiful Embroidered red, yellow and orange tops. I was sooooo bored!

We had these lovely neighbours, in our old house. they were Duch. They took us out for a walk to a park by a river, and it poured and poured and poured. We hid in a cave and survived for 1 hour on sweets!! We decided to walk more to the playground, but we got saturated on the way.! We had lakes in our shoes and we couldn’t stop laughing.
