When we went to Tulum it was really nice. We hired bicycles. When we first saw our hotel we thought it looked very nice and wondered if we would need another bedroom.
3 days later…
We went to the Cenote – it was amazing, it was apselitly fenomenal. It was a big hole in the ground with refreshing water that you can swim in when you jump in. It was so refreshing. There was a little boat there and we hopped in, there were lots of bats.
The next day ( or maybe a few days later)…
We went to the other Cenote but this Cenote was not as good as the other, but it was still good. Me and Dad swam under the tunnel to the other end of it but it was not so nice because it was shallow.
One day before the cenote we went to the beach, we hired snorkles and went snorkelling. We saw lots of tiny turtles and plenty of rays . When I got back the girls were back already, then we went to get icecreams.
This is the shortest hair cut I have ever had… She just kept cutting.

Hello Gabriel, I’m VERY sorry, I got the wrong Friday so forgot to wish you a happy birthday 😦 But I hope you had a lovely day, and are enjoying being 8! The new haircut is very smart and makes you look quite grown up I think. It will probably be cooler in the hot weather too, but not as good for shaking your head to swish biddies away. Did Jemima and Millie have haircuts too? What about Mum and Dad – or were they the ones doing the cutting? It sounds like you’ve seen some amazing animals – you are very lucky to be having such an exciting time. Maybe when you’re doing some writing you could send us a post card? I like the ones you’ve sent to Grandpa – he has them up on his mantelpiece. I shall look forward to seeing more photos, and listening to you speaking some Spanish (although I wouldn’t know whether you were right or wrong!)Lots of love, Anne and Robert xxx
