For those of you who don’t know what a glacier is it’s a big moving river of ice and this one moves 50-60 cms per day and 2.5cm per hr.
We took a helicopter and flew over the glacier and landed at the top! It was spectacular we could see mountains and sea for as far as our eyes could take us. There was snow everywhere, crystal white snow! We got out of the helicopter our eyes shone in amazement (even though we were wearing sun glasses!) it was sooooo bright up there! We only spent 10 minutes up on the snow but it was magical truly magical, We flew down seeing what nobody else could see,,
We really appreciated it.
