We went to see the glow worms. We went on a big boat to go to the place where you see them. When we got there we had to go through a big dark tunnel with lots of sparky flashing lights. The lights were the glow worms. But they were like stars shining in the sky – it was as black as coal ink. All we could hear was the water gushing down the valley, pouring down like turning the tap on fully, punletting down. The glow worms need to catch their prey so they hang a fishing line, It is like an extremely sticky silk that its food gets stuck in – it is so the glow worms can eat.
From our cabin we can watch the little planes and helicopters taking off
