Joint blog: Gabriel and Zebedee Gee
When we met up with the Gees we were in Mt Mangonui. When we went to the beach, me and Zeb and Toby built a giant sandcastle. There were some enormous waves that went into the moat and started demolishing the castle. Gabriel’s Dad made a crocodile with teeth of shells.
We also went body boarding which was very fun. The waves were massive. They crashed together like humongous cogwheels. 🌊 At the beach the sea was very cold like in a freezer.
We went up Mount Mangonui – on the way up we threw stones off the cliff. When we got to the top there was a spectacular view over the city. Jemima fell in a ditch and grazed her knee. It was bleeding. 🗻
Heather and the children stopped at Zebedee’s grandmother’s house while the other adults went for a walk. We had a treasure hunt – the treasure was golden coins but me and Zeb didn’t get our golden coins we got a candycane and a chocolate. When we got to the hotel we played games for a while.
