In Siem Reap we went to a hotel with a swimming pool that was really good and it was a really nice temperature, we were playing around which was good fun. When we went swimming Millie’s godmother Shunmay came around and played with us. We had competitions where we stood on people’s shoulders and battled. I knocked Jemima off and celebrated until dad threw me off his shoulders into the water!
We went to Ta Prom which is a big temple with trees growing out of it and the roots hanging down going through the temple that was really exciting. Daddy said that the trees drop seeds that grow into trees with more big roots.
The next day we went for a walk around the town and daddy and me found a fish tank with fish that nibble your skin. I put my hand in and it was very very tickly.
We went on another bus to Phnom Penh to a hotel that had lovely comfy beds. One night we went out with Shunmay and Nicola to their hotel where we had a strawberry delight that had ice cream in. There was a swimming pool on the top. We went out for supper and had lovely chewy pork and fish with lovely lime and pepper sauce. It was really delicious.
