We went on a bus from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang. When we got there we had to negotiate a good price for a tuk-tuk to our hotel. When we got to our hotel we found bicycles and rode them round the place – it was super fun. They gave us orange juice that was artificial. Our room was very nice. When we saw the swimming pool we headed straight for our swimming costumes. I dived in and swam to the end.
We went to a night market and I bought mummy a necklace for Christmas. I bought Jemima a bag and Millie a bracelet and a toy bunny rabbit. I had to go to a temple on top of the hill but didn’t really want to.
Daddy and Jemima and Millie stayed behind while mummy and me went to see weaving and I had an ice cream. We saw the silkworms they were wriggling about like caterpillars. It was fun because we saw lots of boats on the river.
Another day we went with the Australians to the most amazing waterfall in the world. It was bright blue with a rocky cliff it was falling down. There was a branch that I jumped off about 50 times into a big pool which was also bright blue. I bought a ball that was made out of basket but it didn’t float so we couldn’t bring it with us into the water.
