One week we went to see a tea plantation. We saw a them picking the tea and loading it into cloth bags so that the tea didn’t go mouldy. Step 2 – then we saw them put the bags on their heads and load them onto a machine with a hook, then it went onto a conveyor belt. It was dropped onto a tray with holes underneath where there was a hair drier. Then they pushed the tea down a hole to the floor beneath, where they put it on another conveyor belt and dried it into smithereens, then it got warmer warmer and warmer until it was dried and black. The ladies put it in packages and on to the backs of trucks to onto shops and other countries.
