South Omo Tribes

In the morning we had a play until a man came in and we had to go with him to the south. Our tour guide was called Bek and our driver was called Amde. We went to a tribe where mummy made Injera then we tasted it. After that, I traded all my loom bands then we saw a blacksmith work. I had a race with a boy who was 10 – surprisingly I won!

The next day we went to see the Mursi tribe but I was sick so I stayed in the car but I saw a dad smearing cow poo all over his son. Isn’t that disgusting!

The next day we went to the Koro tribe  and they were painting each other. The men were carrying rifles over their shoulders. The kids were all wearing paint. The men were wearing goat skin and so were the women. There was a man with Dr Beats headphones his eyebrows were down and he wasn’t smiling.

There were some boys on stilts painted like zebras. One of them had his hair clipped up and he looked funny. We saw another two boys who were completely naked and painted like zebras.
